About myself...

My biggest love in life is dance, and I wanted to turn it into my profession since I can remember. Born 1993, I grew up in Germany and came to Israel in 2014 to study with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. That year changed my life completely and since I returned in October 2017 I am building my life in Israel with focusing on teaching dance classes - the place I am my happiest self.

My journey took me from Classical Ballet training under the Royal Academy of Dance System from four years old, to adding Modern Dance with nine and later taking classes as well in Jazz, Tap Dance and Hip Hop at the Karren Foster Academy and Iwanson International, during which time I took part in many performances.

My passion lies in teaching, and I started with my first own classes at the Age of seventeen in the area of Stuttgart.

After I finished school 2012 I was auditioning for Universities and private schools to study dance, but a heavy car accident cancelled my plans and I had to go through a two year rehabilitation period. During this time I learned a lot about the anatomy of the body and how to deal with injuries, which influenced my way of training and teaching untill today.

My mentor Karren Foster taught and inspired me in many ways, and I gained more experiences in teaching and choreographing performances during the time I was injured and

I couldn’t perform.

In 2014 I got selected for the Study Year of the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company and I came for the first time to Israel. I danced in choreographies by Eyal Dadon and Olga Stetsyuk and performed repertoire of Rami Be’er and Mats Ek. A truly wonderful experience. The following two years I continued collecting my dance education with my own free schedule of attending short term education programs in Contemporary, Modern, Ballet and Gaga as well in Pedagogy and Anatomy and I traveled through different dance metropolis like Amsterdam (Henny Jurriens Foundation), Berlin (marameo/tanzfabrik),

Tel Aviv (Gaga & Batsheva Repertoire Intensives), Paris (Studio Harmonic/LAX Studio) and New York (Steps on Broadway, Peridance Center, Gibney Dance Center)

But no other country left such a big impact on me like Israel did, and I reflected and choreographed about it a full-length piece, called “Sababa” with seventeen dance students of the Karren Foster Academy in 2016. In the same year I moved to Munich to teach and to work as a dancer for “Dance Theater of Munich”, as well as for the Performance LAB with Mia Lawrence and other projects.

My longings to Israel didn’t stop and since I was taking a flight in October 2017, I ended up staying in my chosen home.

In January 2018 I moved for half a year to the Moa Oasis in the desert of Israel to deepen my own movement research. I deeply fell in love with the desert, which taught me so many things and I reconnected to what is important for me in life and in my profession of how I want to work as a dancer and dance teacher.

My life in Tel Aviv was shaped in 2018 and 2019 by following my long-term passion about Gaga to take intensive classes at Suzanne Dellal.

While dance studios were being closed during Covid, I moved in December 2020 for four months to the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company to join a training program and to be mentored in the work of my own creations. I was happy and grateful to have a second time in Ga’aton and to learn from my favorite company, which was the reason I came to Israel in 2014.

In 2021 my short pieces “Never Not A Lovely Moon” (Solo) and “Moon Water” (Trio) performed in Zichri Theatre and they collided into a 15-min version for a performance at Habait Theatre in Jaffa in March 2021. In September 2021 my production and choreography “MOA”, featuring the dancers Shiraz Yoel and Rotem Yakov and live musician Dan Avidor, premiered at Jaffa Theatre and was performed again in November. Within 2021 I was building up more and more classes and I couldn’t be happier about the wonderful studios I got the opportunities to work for.

I am currently teaching in Tel Aviv at Studio Naim, Dance Community Club and Studio B and in Kiryat Ono at Bustan Dance Center. In November 2022 I founded my own classes in Herzliya (DCMK) and the first half of 2023 I was teaching at Halelu Dance Studio in Jerusalem.

In June 2022 I joined a Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training by Nieke Franken , and I  got certified in December 2022. I immediately started teaching as part of DCMK in Herzliya and in March 2023 I received weekly yoga classes at Studio Naim in Ramat Gan.

I love the work as a choreographer and since some time I am bubbling up material for a new creation, which will be performed at Jaffa Alsaraya Theatre in Tel Aviv on the 3rd of September, 2023. In the part "Performances" you can find more updates and read about my pieces in the past.
